With 90 Years of experience as commercial electrical contractors since 1935 and a dedicated team of over 40 staff, no job is too big, too small or too complex.
We provide the ideal solution to any construction project with over 100 local contractors, vetting and approved to cover all specialist applications.
Owen & Palmer began trading from a small shop on Bangor High Street in the 1930s (Our telephone number was 203, Faraday House) and became a limited company in 1973. Our business has continued to develop and grow, and we made the move to a unit on Llandegai Industrial Estate in 1987, just around the corner from our home in Bangor.
We currently employ over 40 full time members of staff, including office based, managerial, clerical, estimating and technical positions. Our remaining team are highly qualified foremen, supervisors, approved electricians, electricians and labourers. To support the next generation, we also enjoy employ many apprentices at various stages of their training through the local college.
Our perfect location enables us to easily serve clients within the Counties of Anglesey, Conwy and Gwynedd, and we are always willing and able to work further afield when the project requires.
As an additional benefit to our normal services, we can offer a 24hr emergency call out facilities, as well as FM Services to larger contracts for complete peace of mind and compliance.

Our management systems are independently verified through our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Accreditation and environmentally to ISO 14001:2015.

Managers, Supervisors and Electricians all hold a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card. This enables all of us to prove our identity, our qualified status and occupation when working on-site. Our engineers also undertake the ECS Health & Safety Assessment which enables them to prove their health and safety competency.
